FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Inspira Marketing Group Hosts Annual Day of Giving Fundraiser:
Announces Soles2Souls Campaign
STAMFORD, CT – June 1, 2023 – Inspira Marketing Group, a purpose-driven brand activation agency headquartered in Norwalk, CT, announced today their annual Day of Giving fundraiser event titled Soles2Souls (Powered By: Inspira | Enthuse). Noting that one in three children in the US live in low-income families, many children have never owned a brand-new pair of shoes, and too often, the shoes are either too small, too big, or in such bad shape, that the child feels embarrassed or is unable to safely play sports.
Inspira believes in creating meaningful change within the communities it serves and has set a goal to raise at least $15,000 in donations to provide new shoes to an entire local Title 1 Connecticut elementary school—in turn increasing physical activity, healthy living, and ultimately self-confidence and improved school performance for hundreds of students.
This Summer, the Soles2Souls campaign will partner with Shoes That Fit—a nationally-recognized 501(C)(3) non-profit charity organization that donates new athletic shoes to elementary school-age children in need—in order to raise awareness of the importance of how a new pair of shoes positively impacts a child and to make a direct, positive impact in the local CT community. Now through July 31, Inspira Marketing will collect used shoe donations from across the country, and for every pair of shoes donated, Inspira will match a fixed dollar amount to turn old shoes into a new pair of sneakers for a child in need.
Chief Inspiration Officer Jeff Snyder comments, “Celebrating our fifteenth anniversary this year, Inspira is exceptionally proud of the purpose-driven, philanthropic mission that has always been at the core of our agency values. In addition to donating a portion of our annual revenue and time to Alex’s Lemonade Stand each year, our team does great work by being organically good-natured, and over the years, our Day of Giving campaigns have continued to grow. Over the next few months, we look forward to the opportunity to supply an entire elementary school with new shoes, helping hundreds of students kickstart the school year with the confidence to run towards a better tomorrow.”
Inspira encourages communities nationwide to participate, offering a variety of ways to get involved. First, for those local to Connecticut, Inspira will host a Soles2Souls Sky Zone Trampoline Park event on Thursday, June 29 from 3PM – 5PM, where 20% of all ticket sales that day will be contributed towards our fundraising goal. Secondly, Inspira will collect used shoes via Soles2Souls donation boxes at Sky Zone in Norwalk, CT, in the Connecticut headquarters office, in the satellite New York City and California offices, plus at regional collection hubs in Atlanta, Chicago, and more. Lastly, Inspira will collect monetary donations through a custom Shoes That Fit fundraising page with a suggested donation of $30 (equating to one pair of new shoes). All proceeds will go towards shoe purchases for those in need.
